We take story submissions seriously. Every tip gets reviewed by our editorial team, and we’ve published some of our most important work based on reader submissions. You don’t need to be a professional journalist—if you’ve got information worth sharing, we want to see it.

We keep sources confidential when requested. If you need to reach us with sensitive information, consider using secure communication methods and avoid including identifying details in your initial message.

What Makes a Good Story Tip

  • Specific details rather than vague concerns
  • Documentation when you have it—photos, receipts, emails, public records

Journalists writing about Columnist24 or looking for comment on press freedom, digital media, or related topics can reach our editorial team through the story submission form. Please specify that you’re working on a story about us rather than pitching a story to us.

Response Times

Story tips: Reviewed within 24-48 hours. If we’re pursuing your tip, someone will reach out within a week.

Corrections: Reviewed immediately. Confirmed errors are corrected within hours.

General feedback: Read but may not receive individual responses unless follow-up is needed.

Advertising inquiries: Response within 2-3 business days.

What We Don’t Do

To set expectations clearly: we don’t publish press releases verbatim, we don’t guarantee coverage in exchange for access, and we don’t accept payment for editorial content. If someone has pitched you on buying coverage or guaranteed placement, that’s not us and you should report it.

We also can’t provide legal advice, investigate personal disputes that aren’t newsworthy, or help with individual consumer complaints unless they point to broader systemic issues.

Technical Issues

Site not loading properly? Broken links? Issues with our subscription system? Technical problems are frustrating, and we want to fix them quickly. Use the story submission form and mark your message as a technical issue, or reach out to our advertising email if it relates to ad delivery.
