Tüyap brings Plast Eurasia to Istanbul this December for the show’s 35th edition. Raw materials, production technologies and plastics machinery will be presented side by side, with organisers intensifying their campaign to attract trade visitors from major European markets ahead of the opening.

İstanbul – Plast Eurasia opens from 2-5 December 2026 inside Istanbul’s Tüyap Fair and Congress Center, staged by Tüyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc., which works alongside PAGEV, while the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Trade provides its backing. Purchasing professionals, distributors, raw material producers, technology providers and manufacturers will gather there to build commercial links throughout the plastics sector.

“For 35 years, Plast Eurasia supports the growth and development of the industry by bringing companies and professionals together and helping turn those connections into commercial relationships,” according to İlhan Ersözlü, General Manager at Tüyap Fairs Production Inc. “This year, we want to carry that experience forward by creating focused opportunities for buyers, suppliers and technology companies to meet around the needs of today’s plastics industry.”

European buyer campaign picks up speed

With roughly 3 months remaining until opening, 90% of the stand space has been taken. Some 80,000 visitors from home and abroad are expected, and trade visitor campaigns target France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Poland, Greece and Romania, plus markets across the Middle East and North Africa.

Machinery suppliers, materials companies and other plastics businesses will share a single Istanbul exhibition floor in December, giving industry professionals from Europe one destination to visit. Fresh commercial contacts are the focus of the international visitor programme, which also helps firms strengthen the trading ties they already hold.

Equipment, materials and manufacturing technologies fill the agenda

Two central segments of the show are plastic production machinery and raw materials and chemicals. Next-generation production technologies and machinery solutions are covered as well, while efficiency, innovation and value-added production sit among the themes framing the commercial agenda.

That scope of products lets technical staff and buyers assess equipment, materials and production methods within one visit, as exhibitors introduce fresh products, technologies and sector solutions to an international audience.

Anniversary events revisit 35 years of industry evolution

Included in the 35th-anniversary programme is a Milestones Map, a chronological display charting key stages in the history of the fair together with developments across the plastics industry. How manufacturing technologies have shifted over the decades will be shown in a historic plastics production machinery exhibition too.

At the opening ceremony, plaques go to Kontel Elektronik, Enformak Plastik Teknolojileri and Almak Ateş Makine, companies present throughout the 35-year journey of the event, in recognition of their long-standing involvement.

Exhibitors taking part in The Stage is Yours! receive 30-minute presentation slots to put value-added products, technologies, industry solutions and success stories in front of visitors.

Tailored routes for invited purchasing delegations

Locating the right exhibitors and product groups should become quicker for international purchasing delegations through the Hosted Buyer Guided Tour programme. Planned routes, calls at demo and event areas, entry to the Hosted Buyer Lounge and dedicated support services await the buyers who take part.

Turkish Airlines, Official Airline of Plast Eurasia, is offering fare reductions on qualifying international return flights to Istanbul flown between 25 November and 12 December 2026: 10% off in Economy Class and 15% off in Business Class.
