Former Medic turned Chocolate Coach named Female Entrepreneur of the Year by Chelsea FC

A life coach who uses Chocolate Meditation to transform her clients’ lives, is celebrating being named Female Entrepreneur of the Year by Chelsea FC.

Former medic Lisa Fearon, 39, originally from Tyseley, Birmingham and now living in London, took part in the Chelsea Enterprise Programme last year.  The accolade was awarded after she impressed the club so much during the 4-week long intensive coaching programme, which focused on business growth and development.  Her business will now be promoted at the Chelsea women’s football stadium, King’s Meadow, for the rest of the season.

Lisa Fearon, said:

“I’m so thrilled to have been chosen as Chelsea’s female entrepreneur of the year – it feels like such an uplift after a really challenging couple of years. It’s so perfectly aligned with my coaching ethos and what I’m most passionate about – inspiring and empowering women to stop playing small, to believe in themselves fully and to go after their dreams no matter what and, if necessary, to go against all odds to achieve that!

“The Chelsea women’s team are a great example of this – really rising above the rest and achieving amazing things, which is what my coaching aims to support women in doing.”

Lisa trained as a life coach after being diagnosed with fibromyalgia, a neurological condition, which led to her leaving her medical career in 2016.  She had spent 14 years working as a theatre specialist.  Then a life-changing meeting with a Shaman working with Ceremonial Cacao in Guatemala, inspired her to set up her life coaching business.

However, she chose to return to the NHS at the beginning of the Covid pandemic and went back to the operating theatre full-time for a year.  Unfortunately, it had a huge impact on her health. When she left, she pivoted to online coaching, despite struggling with exhaustion and severe chronic pain.

Lisa continued:

“I’m so grateful to Chelsea for endorsing me, along with the Chelsea enterprise programme as a whole for the incredible coaching I received.  I paused my coaching to help the NHS at the beginning of the pandemic and that felt like the right decision at the time, to use my expertise to help others.

“I had coached and helped transform the lives of hundreds of people pre-pandemic, running retreats around the world and leading powerfully transformational Cacao ceremonies, which all ground to a halt when I returned to the frontline for the NHS.

“The enterprise programme helped me in so many ways – guiding me through the shift to working online, but also creating the support network I really needed to re-establish myself again.”
