Former Hawksmoor Exeter Team Joins Oberon, Driving Major Regional Expansion

Oberon Investments Group plc (“Oberon” or “the Company”) (AQSE: OBE), the listed boutique investment management, wealth planning, and corporate broking group, has announced the appointment of a highly experienced investment management team based in Exeter, marking a significant milestone in its ongoing regional expansion.

The new team of four will be led by Andrew Little, who joins Oberon as Head of the Exeter Office. Andrew brings over two decades of experience in wealth and investment management, having started his career at Barclays before moving to Canaccord Genuity and W H Ireland. Most recently, he led Hawksmoor Investment Management’s Exeter office, overseeing a wide portfolio of private client and intermediary relationships. Andrew is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).

Joining him are Chris McNulty, Senior Investment Director, along with Associate Investment Managers Michael Balch and Emily Davidson.

Chris brings nearly 20 years of investment management experience, beginning his career at Barclays before progressing to senior positions at Williams de Broë and Brewin Dolphin. He later became a founding member of Hawksmoor’s Dorchester office and subsequently a key part of its Exeter team. Chris is a Chartered Wealth Manager and Fellow of the CISI.

Michael offers more than 15 years’ experience in investment and fund administration, joining Hawksmoor in 2014 after working with Capita Asset Services. Emily transitioned into investment management following a successful career in law and holds the CISI Level 4 Investment Advice Diploma.

This strategic hire represents a major step in Oberon’s continued growth and strengthens its position as one of the UK’s most ambitious integrated wealth management and investment groups. In an era where much of the industry has shifted towards standardised investment offerings, Oberon continues to stand out as one of the few firms dedicated to providing truly bespoke investment solutions for private clients and advisers.

Simon McGivern, Chief Executive Officer of Oberon, commented:

“We’re thrilled to welcome Andrew and his team to Oberon. They are all highly respected professionals with an outstanding track record and a deep commitment to client service – complementing the Oberon culture perfectly. Their arrival reflects our ability to attract some of the best talent in the industry and underlines our ambition to build one of the UK’s most forward-thinking wealth management businesses. Expanding into the Southwest is an exciting milestone as we continue to grow our national footprint and deliver exceptional outcomes for clients.”

Commenting on his appointment, Andrew Little said:

“As Head of Oberon’s new Exeter office, I’m honoured to have the opportunity to lead this exciting new chapter. Our primary goal is to build on Oberon’s strong brand reputation, strengthen our existing client relationships, and expand our presence across the Southwest.”
