Petpals 25th anniversary charity raffle

Petpals Begins 25th Anniversary Year with Charity Raffle in Support of PDSA

Petpals, the UK’s longest-established pet care franchise, has launched its 25th anniversary celebrations with a successful charity raffle event in aid of PDSA. The evening, organised by Franchise Support Manager Tracey Dawber, brought together colleagues, friends and supporters to honour the company’s milestone and showcase its commitment to community values.

Tracey, well known for her fundraising efforts, has previously completed the London Marathon three times, raising money for Dogs Trust, Cats Protection and the Army Benevolent Fund. She will take on the challenge again in 2026, this time running for PDSA, the UK’s leading veterinary charity. As part of its anniversary year, Petpals is supporting her efforts by contributing to her fundraising total.

“PDSA does incredible work helping pets and owners who might otherwise struggle to afford veterinary care,” said Tracey. “Running the marathon is a huge challenge, but knowing that every penny raised helps keep families and their pets together makes it all worthwhile. The support from Petpals and our community has been amazing – I’m so grateful to everyone who joined in and donated.”

Held at The Clatford Arms in Goodworth Clatford, the raffle featured prizes donated by local businesses and was followed by live music and celebration. It marks the first in a programme of fundraising and community-focused activities as Petpals prepares for its 25th anniversary year in 2026.

Since its launch in 2001, Petpals has supported pet-loving communities across the UK. As the brand approaches a quarter-century of service, it is extending that spirit of care to the charities close to its network’s heart, with more events planned throughout 2026.

“The evening perfectly captured what Petpals is all about,” said Kevin Thackrah, Director of Petpals. “We’ve always believed in the power of community and kindness. Tracey’s enthusiasm, dedication and big-hearted approach embody the Petpals spirit – caring for animals, supporting each other and doing good wherever we can. As we celebrate 25 years, we’re looking forward to a year of fundraising and giving back to the communities, customers and pets who’ve helped us succeed along the way.”
