Five Code Ninjas locations across the UK are celebrating a significant milestone this month as each marks its fifth anniversary. The centres in Welwyn Garden City, Langley, Eastleigh, Pinner and Enfield have spent the last five years helping young Ninjas discover the world of technology and develop the skills they need for the digital age.
Since opening its first UK Dojo in 2019, Code Ninjas has expanded into a thriving network of more than 35 sites nationwide. Its core mission remains unchanged: to inspire children aged 5–14 to learn coding in a way that is engaging, fun and rewarding. Guided by their Senseis, the Ninjas design and build their own video games, experiment with robotics and tackle practical problem-solving activities – learning to see coding as both a technical discipline and a creative, empowering tool.
Over the years, the five centres reaching this milestone have welcomed hundreds of young learners, many of whom have gained much more than a passion for coding. Parents frequently observe that their children grow in self-confidence, develop greater resilience and nurture a curiosity that extends well beyond the Dojo. These qualities, alongside digital literacy, equip them to thrive in whichever future path they pursue.

Seeing their faces light up when they crack a code or proudly show their parents what they’ve built is the best part of what we do.
